We design, implement, deliver, and maintain various personnel rescue chambers.
Technology Used, Operating Principle, and Purpose
Rescue chambers are designed for personnel evacuation in environments where the need for shelter in the event of an accident is immediate, and escape outside the danger zone is not possible. The most typical applications for rescue chambers are in mines and in industries handling toxic gases or substances.
SafePro protective spaces use the same air purification technology that has been used in submarines for decades. The technology enables air purification in a closed space so that a person can breathe freely inside the protective space without oxygen masks or other aids.
Air purification technology requires an airtight and sealed space to function. For a fixed rescue chamber, conditions for sealing must be established in the space, including the ability to close the space’s ventilation system and air ducts, as well as making necessary seals to door openings and hatches. The SafePro mobile rescue chamber is manufactured to be airtight from the outset, and both rescue chamber models operate independently using their own resources such as oxygen reserves, filters, and battery power. The operating time of the rescue chamber can be adjusted from a few hours to several days by increasing or decreasing these resources.

Fixed SafePro Protective Spaces
A fixed SafePro rescue chamber is designed to save tens or even several hundred people for days at a time. As the name suggests, a fixed rescue chamber is built as a permanent part of a space deemed suitable at the customer’s facility. The air purification equipment as a whole can be built either in the space itself where the personnel are located, or in a separate equipment room. The dimensioning of the air purification system is influenced by the customer’s rescue chamber volume, the maximum number of people to be placed in the space, and the time the system should be able to purify the air.
For the delivered air purification system, SafePro offers annual maintenance as well as comprehensive instructions to support usability and operational readiness for the customer. By separate agreement, SafePro can also perform the work components in addition to planning the sealing of the customer’s rescue space.
Mobile SafePro Protective Spaces
Mobile SafePro rescue chambers are designed to save small groups of people where the danger is greatest. Typically, mobile rescue chambers are used in mine tunnels, where rescue chambers can be moved close to the work locations of personnel groups as needed.
The mobile SafePro rescue chamber is designed to be as simple as possible in terms of use,
and the rescue chamber structure is created to withstand extreme conditions such as repeated pressure wave impacts caused by mine blasting operations.
The rescue chamber is capable of operating completely independently for several days, but it must be connected to mains power to charge the battery in the rescue chamber. In terms of dimensions, the SafePro mobile rescue chamber fits well on a truck bed and, if necessary, in a shipping container for transport.
SafePro provides comprehensive instructions and operational guidance for delivered protective spaces, as well as annual maintenance.
