Protective Space Maintenance
– Secured by SafePro
Comprehensive Maintenance and Condition Inspections
We provide comprehensive maintenance and condition inspections of rescue chambers for demanding mining environments.
The service covers inspections of protective space structures and penetrations, testing of heating and humidity control systems, and functional verification of backup power systems.
We inspect and test air purification and life support systems, including CO₂ filters and O₂ enrichment, to ensure safe conditions in emergency situations. The protective space’s airtightness, door locking mechanisms, and alarm and fault systems are verified through measurements and functional tests.
Upon completion of the maintenance, we deliver a documented report specific to each protective space, supporting the mine’s safety management, audits, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintenance of Critical Rescue Chambers for Mining Environments

Structural and Functional Condition Inspection of Protective Spaces
We inspect the external structures, penetrations, and connections of the protective space to ensure structural integrity and safety in demanding mining conditions. Inside the protective space, we test the operation of heating and humidity control systems to ensure that the space conditions meet the requirements for safe use in emergency situations.
Backup Power System Condition Inspection and Functional Testing
We verify the operation of battery chargers and battery voltage levels in accordance with manufacturer and mining safety requirements. The operational reliability of the backup power system is tested by disconnecting the protective space’s mains power and ensuring that all critical systems remain operational without interruption.

Clean Breathing Air
– inspections ensure safety

Air Purification and Life Support System Condition Inspection
We inspect the condition of CO₂ filters and the operation of the air O₂ enrichment system to ensure breathable air during protective space use. We perform necessary minor corrective actions on-site to ensure the protective space’s usability and operational readiness. Any more extensive repair needs that are the responsibility of the client are documented and reported clearly.
Airtightness Inspection and Testing of Alarm and Fault Systems
The protective space’s airtightness is verified by pressurizing the space in a controlled manner to overpressure and monitoring the stability of the overpressure through measurements. The inspection also includes verifying the condition of door seals and the operation of locking mechanisms to ensure that the space is demonstrably gas-tight and safe. Additionally, we test the operation of alarm and fault notification systems to ensure reliable fault detection.

Protective Space-Specific Reporting

Reporting and Safety Observations
We prepare a detailed maintenance and inspection report specific to each protective space for the client, including documented measurement results and photographic documentation. The report presents any repair recommendations and safety observations classified by urgency, supporting the mine’s safety management and audit readiness.
