- A high-quality air purification system enables normal breathing air without separate respirator masks.
- Operating time is up to 72 hours, as required.
- A backup power system with a lithium battery pack ensures operation.
- A user-friendly system improves functionality in emergency situations.
- Quiet operation supports ergonomics.
- Digital control and monitoring of functions available as an optional add-on.

Safety and functionality
– in the same space

A fixed rescue chamber also serves
as a multipurpose space
The rescue chamber can be built to meet the needs of the application for 15–150 people and for the required operating time.
We design the complete solution to meet your needs and in collaboration with you.
F Series rescue chambers can also serve, when needed, for example as training, meeting and
dining facilities.
Tested air purification and oxygen system
Oxygen and air purification systems provide normal breathing air for the desired time and number of persons.
All our refuge chambers are mask-free, which significantly improves usability and ergonomics.

A clear overall solution
– optimised for emergency situations

Protected against power outages
A backup power system and a durable lithium battery pack ensure sufficient operating time during possible power outages.
Real situation operating instructions
Clear, visual plain-language operating instructions include procedures from start-up to shutting down functions.
Storage of supplies
Required accessories are stored in dry and warm storage spaces (airtight CO2 filters, food, water, board games, tools).

Advanced control unit

Control and monitoring of functions
Backup power sources are adjusted and monitored via the control unit.
The safety room’s operating switches and the oxygen level regulator are manual, with clear illustrated instructions.
Technical room
The air purification and backup power systems can be installed in a separate room. When the technical room is separate, personnel ergonomics improve due to lower noise levels.

SafePro implemented a fixed safety room using the F100 Safety Room concept.
The safety room was built for 100 people for 48 hours, to protect the mine’s personnel. The Kittilä F100-48 is located on the S900 level, at a depth of 900 metres.
The safety room serves as a multipurpose space, as an office, control room and training centre near the canteen. Survival kits for 100 people for 48 hours are stored in the safety room’s cabinets.
Oxygen cylinders, air purifiers and the battery pack are located in a separate technical room.
SafePro performs annual maintenance of the refuge chamber.
